Vintner's Reserve is a blend of the winemaker's overall favorite barrels in the cellar. This year, the cuvee is comprised of Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Petit Verdot and Malbec. The component wines are brought together early to mature for eighteen months in French oak. Dark ruby in color with a complex bouquet of black cherry, black currant, and plum.

Dark Cherry on the nose opens with red fruits (think raspberry), lavender, tar, and leather with subtle hints of cocoa powder. Medium-bodied on the palate with flavors of cherry and prunes up front that flows into tight assertive tannins. Finishes clean and dry.

Rose made from Cabernet Franc and Merlot. Bright and vibrant in color, with a delicate fruit and floral hints, hauntingly dry with cherry and red fruit flavors.
King Family "Crose"-Crozet, VA . . . . . BTL: 42
Dry Merlot-based rosé is fresh and crisp with notes of grapefruit, lime, watermelon, and a light grassiness on the nose. Throughout the palate, a lifting acidity carries flavors of bitter cherry, peach, and rose petal.

Sparkling
